Screening, Diagnosis, Treatment & Rehabilitation

Our HeartWise Cardiac Risk Assessment Program includes a heart scan used with other measures to assess your risk for a heart attack. The assessment includes a total cholesterol and glucose blood test, body fat analysis, personal health history and a private consultation with a nurse who will recommend lifestyle changes that can help you lower your heart attack risk. If necessary, the nurse will also guide you to further care.

Call (800) 397-1521, Ext. 158353 or (815) 748-8353 for more information.

Our Cardiology Laboratory is equipped to diagnose heart problems through the use of EKG-monitored stress tests, echocardiography and nuclear medicine stress tests. Cardiac testing is administered by a board-certified cardiologist and specially trained nurses.

If hospitalization is needed, our Intensive Care Unit can effectively treat and monitor a broad range of cardiac conditions.

Cardiac patients rehabilitate in our bright, cheery Cardiac Rehab Atrium, featuring a sunlit walking track and workout area staffed by exercise physiologists and specially trained nurses.
