You can rest assured that your child will receive the best of care. From our Emergency Department approved for Pediatrics* to our Family Centre for inpatient and surgical pediatric patients, and our pediatric rehabilitation services, you will have peace of mind knowing that expert care is close to home.

Our Pediatric Services Include:

  • Board-certified pediatric ophthalmologist; ear, nose and throat specialists; pediatricians and family practice physicians; as well as visiting specialists in pediatric cardiology, gastroenterology, neurology and pulmonary diseases
  • Physician-directed clinic for evaluation and treatment of children with AD/HD, as well as behavior modification training, AD/HD Evaluation & Treatment
  • Asthma Initiative with area schools
  • Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy for children with special needs
  • 24-hour sick child care, SST'nT, is offered in the KCH Family Centre. This service allows parents to go to work when deadlines cannot be postponed yet children are ill and unable to attend school or daycare. Pre-registration is required.
