Community-based surgeons perform more than 8,000 inpatient and outpatient procedures annually in bariatrics; all cancers including sentinel lymph node breast surgery; plastic and reconstructive surgery; ear, nose and throat; endoscopy; gynecology; laparoscopy, laser surgery; neurosurgery; ophthalmology, oral surgery; orthopedic and arthroscopic surgery; podiatry, urology, and various general surgical procedures.

Many of the procedures do not require an overnight stay. Care is provided in our special ambulatory surgery department. Discharge instructions are given to patients when they feel comfortable enough to leave.
