June 26, 2006
Kishwaukee Community Hospital's Brian Dennison helped raise more than $1,000 for Relay for Life.
Dennison offered to cut his hair if his co-workers would hit that goal. They came through with $1,400.
At the relay, Dennison orchestrated an entry that captured the attention of crowd.
A Sycamore police officer escorted him in. Brian made a prisoner's costume, was handcuffed, and wearing a ball and chain.
Patty Pumfrey from Unique Concepts cut his hair. She also does the American Cancer Society's Look Good, Feel Better program for local cancer patients, and provides wigs at her wholesale price.
