Fit Fest Results

The 13th annual Fit Fest was a big success with over 500 participants. The event was presented by the Kishwaukee Family YMCA and Unlimited Performance Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, a department of Kishwaukee Community Hospital. Fit Fest is held in celebration of national Employee Health & Fitness Day. Participants enjoyed a picturesque 1 mile walk, healthy snacks and free screenings.
Businesses with the highest level of employee participation were awarded traveling trophies. The winners of this year’s trophies are:
- American National Bank - 100% Participation
- Opportunity House – 70% Participation
- Law Office of Klein, Stoddard, Buck and Waller – 67% Participation
- Castle Bank – 26% Participation
Congratulations to these businesses for doing such a great job of delivering the message of employee health throughout their organizations.

Free wellness screenings and educational information were provided by Kishwaukee Family YMCA, Unlimited Performance Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine, Kishwaukee Corporate Health and the DeKalb County Health Department.
