Recipes Being Accepted for KCH Auxiliary Cookbook
July 19, 2007

The Kishwaukee Community Hospital Auxiliary is composing a cookbook in celebration of the opening of the new hospital. Recipe submissions are being accepted from community members now through August 15.

Profits from the cookbook will go towards the Auxiliary’s $500,000 pledge for the Healing Garden of the new KCH. In addition, a portion will go toward the Auxiliary’s annual donation to support the Illinois Hospitals Association Political Action Committee.

The categories included in the cookbook will be: appetizers and beverages; soups and salads; vegetables and sides; main dishes; breads and rolls; desserts; cookies and candy; and this & that.

Recipe collection sheets are available in the Volunteer Services Office at KCH. All written recipes must be submitted on the provided collection sheets. Photocopies of typed recipes will be accepted. Inclusion of the recipe in the cookbook will be the final decision of the KCH Recipe Committee.

Recipes should be turned into the Volunteer Service Office by August 15. For more information, please call 815.756.1521 x3373 or email voloffice@kishhospital.org.
