Dr. Casado's office is located on the second floor of the medical office building attached to the hospital. His special medical interests include helping people with diabetes, hypertension and elevated cholesterol to achieve optimum health through medical treatment, diet and lifestyle.

He is fluent in Spanish and is a member of the American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Physicians.

Dr. Casado has been practicing since 1992, previously in Glen Ellyn, Wheaton and Peoria.

He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois and completed his residency in Internal Medicine at Michigan State University.

Founded in 2001 to deliver healthcare needs to those in the Fox Valley, HealthGuard also has offices in St. Charles, South Elgin, Algonquin and Aurora and is expected to open an office in Sandwich later in the year. HealthGuard includes an Internal Medicine practice for adults and a Pediatrics practice.

HealthGuard pediatrician, Dr. Perniya Masood, joined the KCH medical staff in January. She and Dr. Casado are located in Suite 203 of the KCH Medical Office Building. To schedule an appointment, call 815.748.1900.
