KCH Auxiliary Hosting Annual Snow Ball

Kishwaukee Community Hospital Auxiliary is hosting its annual Snow Ball on Saturday, Jan. 17, 2009, from 6 to 11 p.m. The black tie optional event will be held at Northern Illinois University’s Duke Ellington Ballroom.
The evening will begin with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m., and dancing to music by The New Image Band from 8 to 11 p.m. The six-piece New Image Band, including two vocalists, specializes in dance music covering five decades and is sought after in the Chicagoland area for private events and weekend entertainment venues. Guests can also participate in a silent auction and a draw down raffle.
Among the silent auction items are Southwest airline tickets and limo to Midway Airport, Cubs and White Sox tickets, gourmet food served at your home, wine, art, theater tickets, snow tubing and golf. The event also features a Draw Down Raffle limited to sales of 200 tickets. The tickets are $20 each with every 25th ticket winning at least $50. Participants in the raffle need not be present to win.
Reservations can be made online at www.kishhospital.org on or before Monday, Jan. 5. Tickets are $85 per person. Proceeds from the ball will support healthcare scholarships and the Auxiliary’s pledge to the new hospital, which funded the Healing Gardens and the Chapel. In accordance with IRS guidelines, $40 per person is tax deductible
