Kings Students Give to Cancer Patients
December 22, 2009

Recently the students of Kings School, five miles west of DeKalb, gave back to the community this holiday season. Each grade brought in specific items (crossword puzzle books, tissues, etc.) that were packaged up for cancer patients at Kishwaukee Cancer Care Center in DeKalb and Home of Hope Cancer Wellness Center in Oregon.

The fourth grade class of Miss Tammy Greene, a Kishwaukee Cancer Care Center patient, organized the event to help those who had helped her through her treatments this past year. The students at Kings School are glad to have Miss Greene back and enjoyed helping others.
