Healthcare Scholarships Offered at Kishwaukee Community Hospital
April 14, 2009The Kishwaukee Community Hospital Auxiliary and the Kishwaukee Health Foundation are accepting applications for their 2009 scholarship opportunities. For students interested in healthcare studies, the scholarships offered through the hospital are an excellent opportunity.
One past scholarship recipient, Michelle Wylde, PT, ATC, is a physical therapist at Unlimited Performance Rehabilitation & Sports Medicine, in Sycamore. Michelle benefited from the Kishwaukee Auxiliary Scholarship in both 2002 and 2003. The scholarship money helped her to pay for the textbooks she needed for school.
Kishwaukee Community Hospital Auxiliary Scholarship:
Each applicant must be a DeKalb County resident, has been accepted or is currently enrolled in a college level health-related program, and intends to be or is a full-time student in a college level health-related program. Healthcare scholarships through the KCH Auxiliary are supported with proceeds from the annual Snow Ball formal event. A portion of the proceeds each year are designated for scholarships. Kishwaukee Health Foundation, Floann and Hallie Hamilton Diagnostic Imaging Scholarship:
Each applicant must be a DeKalb County resident and must have been accepted in a college diagnostic imaging curriculum. The Hamilton scholarship is funded by Floann and Hallie Hamilton.Kishwaukee Health Foundation, James J. Feeney, MD, Memorial Scholarship:
Each applicant must be a DeKalb County resident currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited medical school curriculum or have been accepted in a college level pre-medical curriculum as a full-time student. The Feeney scholarship is funded by Kay Feeney, wife of Dr. Feeney.Kishwaukee Health Foundation, KCH Physicians’ Medical Education Scholarship:
Each applicant must be a DeKalb County resident currently enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited medical school curriculum.
