Kishwaukee Health Foundation Creates Legacy Society
July 15, 2009

Kishwaukee Health Foundation has created the Legacy Society to recognize and thank donors who have named the Foundation in their wills or estate plans. The Legacy Society currently has 29 members.

Recently, eight members were in attendance at the first annual Appreciation Event on at the Kishwaukee Country Club, DeKalb. KishHealth System President and CEO Kevin Poorten reviewed future campus planning with the group who were the first members of the community to learn of the recently approved plan.

Naming Kishwaukee Health Foundation in your will or estate plan is a wonderful way to show your support for quality healthcare, far into the future, without the burden of providing cash up front.

With the help of donors, philanthropy assists KishHealth System in providing quality programs and services at Kishwaukee Community Hospital, Valley West Community Hospital, and DeKalb County Hospice. Donations enable the Foundation to bring to our area enhanced technology, services, and new programs that would not be possible without the help of philanthropy. There are numerous opportunities for donors to be involved in enhancing the Kishwaukee Health Foundation’s mission and helping to realize its vision.

For information please contact Linda Linden, Development Coordinator, Kishwaukee Health Foundation at 815.748.9954.
