Shoulder Specialist Joins Medical Staff

KishHealth System welcomes Tony J. Choi, MD, new orthopedic surgeon, who recently joined the medical staffs of Kishwaukee and Valley West Community Hospitals.
Dr. Choi specializes in arthroscopic shoulder and elbow surgery, shoulder and elbow replacement, including specialized shoulder replacements with patients with chronic rotator cuff problems, and sports-related shoulder and elbow injuries and trauma.
He was born in Chicago, grew up in the Quad Cities area and is excited about coming back to Northern Illinois to practice orthopedics.
Dr. Choi completed medical school at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, his surgical internship and orthopedic surgery residency at the University Of Missouri School Of Medicine, and his shoulder and elbow fellowship at the prestigious University of Florida College of Medicine under Dr. Thomas Wright.
