KishHealth System’s Diabetes Educators to Hold Pork Chop Fundraiser

As part of a fundraising effort for the American Diabetes Association’s Step Out: Walk to Fight Diabetes, taking place on Oct. 16, the KishHealth Diabetes Education Center is selling tickets for Fay’s Pork Chop Bar-B-Que dinners.

Dinner choices are: two pork chops, a combination of one pork chop and one quarter chicken, or a half chicken. All tickets are $10 per meal. This includes your choice of one of the above three choices and coleslaw, baked beans, and a dinner roll. Dinner pick up is on Friday, Sept. 24 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the front parking lot of the Kishwaukee Cancer Care Center.

The diabetes team is selling tickets in Garden Café at Kishwaukee Community Hospital from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. through Friday, Sept. 17 and Monday, Sept. 21 through Wednesday, Sept. 22. For more information or to hold or arrange pick up of tickets, call the Diabetes Education office at 815.748.8378. Please make checks payable to the American Diabetes Association (ADA). All proceeds will be donated to the ADA on Oct. 16 at the ADA Step Out Walk in St. Charles.
