Exercise, Massage and Cancer
|
| Exercise and massage therapy help to reduce distress, fatigue and pain during treatment for cancer. Participate in various exercises with a KCH Physical Therapist while learning precautions to take during cancer treatment. She will also talk about the benefits of exercise for lymphedema patients. A free massage therapy coupon will be offered to cancer survivors who attend. |

| Utilizing a variety of art materials, Healing Expressions offers participants an opportunity to express feelings, emotions, and thoughts about their cancer experience through creative outlets such as visual art and craft, music, and reflective writing. | Living Anew is a 6 week program to help you take control and manage your life to improve your chances of surviving cancer. Each session provides education, group discussion, and clinical hypnosis. | This free program teaches beauty techniques to women or girls who are actively undergoing cancer treatment to help combat the appearance-related side effects of radiation therapy and chemotherapy. Come learn tips for skin care, makeup, hair care and wigs. All participants will receive a free kit of cosmetics. (Valued up to $200.)
