Whether you are having a procedure after which you will be released the same day or you will be staying a day or two for recovery, you can trust our professionals at Kishwaukee Community Hospital to meet your needs before, during and after your surgery. By utilizing state-of-the-art technology, our highly skilled physicians and staff will provide you quality care and personalized service. We offer private bays for pre and post operative care for outpatients in Ambulatory Surgery; Special Procedures Lab for interventional radiology, vascular procedures, endoscopy, and cardiac catheterization; and recovery bays immediately adjacent to the operating room and Intensive Care Unit.
Our patient rooms are all private with expanded spaces to accommodate the patient, family members, and caregivers comfortably. Each room has an interactive television for patient education and entertainment, a sleeper chair and recliner, a refrigerator, wireless computer connection for patients and visitors, and thermostat control. With a phone call, meals are delivered bedside with our At Your Request room service available 24 hours a day.
Special accommodations are made for preparing a child for a surgical experience.
